I have heard those refer to Tim Keller as the C.S. Lewis of our generation. Since arriving in NYC, I have constantly been subjected to the chatter of the Redeemer Presbyterian's veteran pastor and pushed to attend one of his sermons. After attending, the best way to express Tim's sermon is that of refined theological expertise translated to be understandable to those Biblically less endowed. There is not a single component in his sermons I would have a disagreement. They fit together like a puzzle. Redeemer has been forced to expand more and more to fit the swarms of listeners. The five service locations are spread out on the East and West Side of Manhattan. I highly suggest attending one of these. At the very least, regardless of faith, one can appreciate a man's amazing talent and vast knowledge of theology and ability to impact the nations.
