I am Ford Cochran Smith. I am currently a second year student at Lindsey Wilson College. I was recently a professional fashion model for Ford Models in New York City. Majoring in business management, my future aspirations are aimed at a full time career in the coffee industry. Whether involving my personal or business career, I have always been a people person devoted to living a fulfilling life of value and integrity. This involved leaving the comfort and warmth of my family and idyllic small southern town to pursue an opportunity of a lifetime. My senior year began with crushing blows in the sports arena and personal relationships. This left me bruised, bewildered and questioning my future. In December of 2009 I decided to pursue a full-on effort to regain ground. Acting on a whim, from the encouragement of others, I sent in pictures to one of the world's top modeling agencies, Ford Models. A few months after sending the photos I was selected as a finalist in Vman magazine and offered a contract with the agency. This website was not only created to keep a detailed account of my new life, but to ensure people that out of the depths of any bad situation, one can always rise from the ashes and be successful.
